...Telecogresca in danger...
I am a telecommunications engineer. I am proud of the school that I attended. I am proud of having helped (and attended) 6 times in a row to organize the Telecogresca. It is the most important university party (in fact, with the years it has became a music festival) in the whole country of Spain. About 15000 people gather each year for good music, worldwide famous dj's, great mainstream and alternative rock bands and good mood and party in general.
However, this year, the city major of Barcelona does not let the party be organized on a Friday, as it always was. All the groups and logistics are already booked and paid for a Friday, and because some fucking assholes do not want to let the party go on. They apply a recently approved law that, in an obvious lack of equality, is not applied to other outdoor activities in Barcelona (such as Feria de Abril, Wintercase and Primavera Sound).
Moreover, this year would be the 30th anniversary of the party.
It's time to raise our voice and save Telecogresca. Write to the newspapers, write an article to the magazine you usually colaborate, write a post about it in your weblog... help our voices be raised!
